CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of December 29, 2017, the external evaluation expert team (EGN) of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) conducted a preliminary survey at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to prepare for the official survey according to the university education quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participating in the preliminary survey day at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy, on the side of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Community Program Association, was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen – Officer; On the side of the Delegation of Experts, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Secretary of the Youth Union.

During the preliminary survey day, the Evaluation Expert Team worked with the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, the School’s Self-Evaluation Council, Heads of the University’s units, the Secretariat and Specialized groups with main contents include:

• The evaluation expert team reports the research results of the School’s self-assessment profile, announces the official survey plan and facilities requirements. The school needs to prepare for the official survey;
• Agree on issues that the school needs to prepare: evidence that needs to be supplemented; number and composition of subjects invited to interview;
• Agree on the official survey schedule;
• Agree on working principles;
• Visit some locations where the school prepares for the official survey such as the office of the Evaluation Team, the interview room, the hall for the Opening Ceremony of the official survey, etc.

Signing Minutes of Preliminary Survey at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy

At the end of the preliminary survey day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Association, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the preliminary survey of the Evaluation Team. . The official survey time of the Expert Evaluation Team at the University was agreed to begin on February 5, 2018 and end on February 9, 2018.
