Implementing Decision No. 257/QD-KĐCLGD dated September 14, 2022 of the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD), Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) on the establishment of the Delegation External evaluation (Evaluation) of 02 training programs (CTDT) in Food Technology and Crop Science, university level at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry, the Evaluation Expert Team conducted a preliminary survey. Ministry (KSSB) at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University on October 4, 2022. Participating in KSSB, on the side of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Center Director and Center staff. On the side of the Evaluation Delegation, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, former Director of Higher Education Department – Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Delegation and MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Secretary of the union.

At the end of the KSSB day, the Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Councils, Head of the Evaluation Expert Delegation and Principal of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB.

The KSCT round to serve the 02 Training Program Evaluation was opened on October 12, 2022 at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University.

Attending the opening ceremony of the STD inspection, on behalf of the Center for Education Quality Assessment and the Delegation of Assessment Experts, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, former Director – Department of Higher Education – Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Delegation and 04 members of the Evaluation Delegation. On the side of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry, there were: Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Quang Ha, Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Principal, Vice Chairwoman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Luc – Head of the Faculty of Food Technology, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Hoan – Head of the Faculty of Agronomy, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Hoang Thi Mai – Deputy Head of Department – Secretary of the Steering Council of Crop Science Research Program; MSc. Khong Thi Thanh – Deputy Head of Department – Secretary of the Steering Council of Food Industry Training Program; along with members of the Self-Evaluation Council of 02 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry.

During the inspection period, starting from October 12, 2022 to October 16, 2022, the Evaluation Expert Team conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the facilities, practice rooms and departments of 02 training programs at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry to verify the information in the University’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help improve Advance and improve the quality of the school’s training program.

At the end of the KSCT round, at the Closing Ceremony, Head of the external evaluation expert team, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 02 training programs in Food Technology and Crop Science at university level at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 02 training programs of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Quang Ha, Principal of the School, Chairman of the Self-Evaluation Council, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
