Implementing Decision No. 137/QD-KĐCLGD dated May 6, 2021, Official Dispatch No. 147/CV-KĐCLGD dated May 17, 2021 and Official Dispatch No. 260/CV-KĐCLGD dated November 29, 2021 of the Director Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD), Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) on establishing an external assessment team for 03 training programs (CTĐT) in the field of Flight Operations Management, in Business Administration and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology at the university level of the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The external evaluation team (DGN) conducted a preliminary survey of 03 training programs of the Aviation Academy. Vietnam online on December 16, 2021.

The opening ceremony of the KSCT period was held on January 10, 2022 at Vietnam Aviation Academy. Attending the opening ceremony, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Education and Training – Vietnam Association of Community Councils. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Former Director, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Dr. Nguyen Van Ly – Auditor of Education Quality Assurance Center – Vietnam Association of AGMs, Standing member and members of the external assessment team of 03 training programs of Vietnam Aviation Academy.

On the side of Vietnam Aviation Academy, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Hoai An – Chairman of the Academy Council; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – Academy Director, Chairwoman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung – Deputy Director of the Academy, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Huu Chan Thanh – In charge of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; along with members of 03 Self-Evaluation Councils of 03 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Vietnam Aviation Academy.

The official survey will be conducted from January 10, 2022 to January 16, 2022. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; Academy Leadership; Leader of the SA Council of 03 Programs; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at Vietnam Aviation Academy to authenticate the information in the self-assessment report of 03 training programs of the Academy, thereby providing recommendations. Recommendations to help improve and enhance the quality of the Academy’s training programs.

The closing ceremony of the 03 training programs at the Vietnam Aviation Academy was held on January 13, 2022. At the Closing Ceremony, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Head of the external evaluation expert team, presented the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Vietnam Aviation Academy. The report of the Evaluation Delegation clearly stated the strengths of the Academy; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the Academy to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the Academy.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – Director of the Academy, Chairwoman of the SA Council affirmed that the Academy will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Evaluation – Vietnam Association of Training Programs, Head of the Delegation of Education Experts and Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy signed the minutes of completion of the official survey of 03 training programs of the Academy. After the closing session, the Delegation of Evaluation experts continued to work internally until January 16, 2022, ending the inspection period to serve the evaluation of 03 training programs of Vietnam Aviation Academy.
