CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of December 5, 2017, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Vietnam Aviation Academy – Ministry of Transport to organize a survey. Official monitoring service for external assessment of Vietnam Aviation Academy according to university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; MSc Pham Thi Quyen – Administrative Support Officer for the External Evaluation Expert Team.

On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Union Secretary; Dr. To Thi Thu Huong – Permanent member; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong and Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Van Uyen is a member of the Delegation.

On the side of Vietnam Aviation Academy, there was Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – Party Committee Secretary, Director, Chairwoman of the Self-Evaluation Council; Master Luu Trung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc Vu Hoang Minh – Head of the Department of Audit and Quality Assurance, Head of the SA Council Secretariat along with the SA Council, specialized groups and representatives of units, officers, lecturers and students of Vietnam Aviation Academy.

Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of Center for Quality Education expressed his opinion at the Opening Ceremony of the official survey serving external assessment of the Vietnam Aviation Academy.

The official survey to serve the assessment lasted from December 5 to December 9, 2017. The team of external assessment experts conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; Academy Leadership; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Observe the facilities of Vietnam Aviation Academy to verify the information in the Academy’s Self-Assessment Report, thereby making recommendations to help the Academy improve and improve quality.

After 5 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey serving the Evaluation of Vietnam Aviation Academy was held at 11:30 a.m. on December 9, 2017. At the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey, Head of the external assessment expert team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of education at Vietnam Aviation Academy. The external evaluation report clearly stated the strengths of the Academy; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation makes recommendations for the Academy to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of education quality assessment, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – Academy Director affirmed that the Academy will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Qualification – Vietnam Association of General Assembly, the Head of the Expert Evaluation Team and the Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy signed the minutes to complete the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the Academy. .
