CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On September 11, 2020, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a preliminary survey (KSSB) at Tay Bac University, to prepare for the official survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB inspection day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Tay Bac University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB inspection of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT round to serve the evaluation of educational institutions was officially opened on September 21, 2020 at Tay Bac University.

Attending the opening ceremony of the CTQC, on the side of the Center for Educational Quality Testing, there was Associate Professor, PhD. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there was Prof. Dr. Science. Banh Tien Long – Head of delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Head of Quality Evaluation Department – Secretary of the Evaluation Team and members of the Evaluation Team including Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen, Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, PhD. Pham Van Hung, PhD. Le Thi Kim Dung, PhD. Nguyen Duc Thanh, PhD. Nguyen Minh Khoi. On the side of Tay Bac University, there was Dr. Doan Duc Lan – Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Dinh Thanh Tam – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Trieu Son – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Pham Minh Thong – Head of Quality Assurance and Legal Inspection Department, Secretary of the SA Council and members of the Self-Evaluation Council, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Tay Bac University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from September 21, 2020 to September 27, 2020. The team of assessment experts outside the educational institution conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; telephone to assess the employment status of 1,050 graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments at Tay Bac University to verify the information in the self-assessment report of the University’s educational facilities, thereby making recommendations help improve and enhance the quality of the school’s educational facilities.

After 7 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of educational institutions of Tay Bac University was held at 4:00 p.m. on September 27, 2020. At the closing ceremony of the KSCT round, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long presented the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of educational facilities at Tay Bac University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the preliminary report on the results of assessing the quality of educational facilities of Tay Bac University, Dr. Dinh Thanh Tam, Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Head of the expert evaluation team and Principal of Tay Bac University signed the Minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the evaluation of educational institutions of the State. school.
