CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

Implementing Decision No. 257/QD-KĐCLGD dated September 14, 2022 of the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) on the establishment of the Delegation External evaluation (assessment) of 3 university level training programs: Accounting, Finance – Banking and Travel and Tourism Service Management of Thang Long University, Education Quality Accreditation Center and Professional Delegation DGN experts conducted a preliminary survey (KSSB) at Thang Long University on September 16, 2022.

The 03 CTĐT inspection period will be conducted from September 27, 2022 to October 3, 2022. The opening ceremony of KSCT was held on the morning of September 27, 2022 at Thang Long University. Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Center for Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Education Programs and the Delegation of Education Evaluation Experts, there were Dr. Pham Xuan Thanh – Deputy Director of the Center; Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, former Director of Higher Education Department – Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen – Head of High Quality Department, Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Vietnam Association of General Assembly, Permanent Member, MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Secretary of the Youth Union and members of the Youth Union.

On the side of Thang Long University, there was Dr. Phan Huy Phu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Nguyen Huu Dang, Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Minh Xuan – Vice Principal, Secretary of the Party Committee; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Khac Minh – Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Pham Thi Thuy Van – Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Testing, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of the SA Council of 03 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Thang Long University.

Immediately after the opening ceremony of the inspection period, the Expert Evaluation Team conducted research on documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School leaders; leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Evaluate the employment status of graduates over the phone; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and working rooms of 03 training programs at Thang Long University to verify the information in the SA report of 03 training programs of the University.

At the Closing Ceremony of the 03 CTCT of Thang Long University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Ha, Head of the Evaluation expert team presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Thang Long University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths of the School and recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 3 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Thang Long University, Dr. Phan Huy Phu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Community Program Association, Head of the evaluation expert team and the Principal of Thang Long University signed the Minutes of completion of the evaluation period to serve the evaluation of 03 training programs of the school.
