On January 7, 2021, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a preliminary survey (KSSB) of the training program (CTĐ): Civil Engineering major at the Central Region University of Construction, to prepare for the official survey (KSCT) according to the accreditation process educational quality of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB inspection day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Councils, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of the Central University of Construction signed the Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT round to serve the evaluation of the training program: the Civil Engineering major at the university level was officially opened on January 11, 2021 at the Central University of Civil Engineering.

Attending the opening ceremony of the STD inspection, on behalf of the Center for Education Quality Assessment and the Delegation of Assessment Experts, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Deputy Director of the Center – Head of the delegation and delegation members including Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, PhD. Nguyen Duc Thanh, MSc. Vu Hoang Diep and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Central Office. On the side of the Central University of Construction, there are: Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Vu Phuong – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Tran Thi Quynh Nhu, Chairwoman of the School Council; Dr. Phan Van Hue – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Pham Ngoc Tien – Dean of the Faculty of Construction, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Dinh Van Vinh – Deputy Head of the Department of Education Auditing and Evaluation, Secretary of the SA Council; SA Council and members of the Self-Assessment Council of the Program, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of the Central University of Civil Engineering.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from January 11, 2021 to January 15, 2021. The evaluation expert team outside the training program conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of the training program at the Central University of Construction to verify the information in the University’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations helps improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

After 4 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of the training program of the Construction Engineering major of the Central University of Civil Engineering was held at 10:00 a.m. on January 15, 2021. At the Closing Ceremony of the Technical Inspection period, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the Preliminary Report on the results of evaluating the quality of the training program in Construction Engineering of the Central University of Civil Engineering. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of evaluating the quality of the training program of the Central University of Civil Engineering, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Vu Phuong, Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the evaluation expert team and the Principal of the Central University of Civil Engineering signed the Minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the evaluation of training programs in Engineering.
