CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of October 12, 2017, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Hanoi University – Ministry of Education and Training to organize the opening of the survey. Official monitoring service for external assessment of Hanoi University according to university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the opening ceremony towards the Center for Education Quality Accreditation was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; MSc Pham Thi Quyen – Administrative Support Officer for the External Evaluation Expert Team. On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team, there was Prof. Dr. Science. Dang Ung Van – Head of the delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Union Secretary; Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet – Permanent member; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen and PhD. To Thi Thu Huong is a member of the Youth Union.

On the side of Hanoi University, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Luan – Principal, Chairman of the Self-Evaluation Council (TDG); Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Trao – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach – Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of the SA Council and Dr. Nguyen Thi Cuc Phuong – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council along with the entire SA Council, leaders of faculties, departments, divisions, and staff representatives Departments, lecturers and students of Hanoi University.

The official survey to serve the assessment lasted from October 12, 2017 to October 16, 2017. The team of external assessment experts conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Observe Hanoi University’s facilities to verify the information in the University’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help the University improve and improve quality.

After 5 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey to serve the Evaluation of Hanoi University was held at 6:30 p.m. on October 16, 2017. At the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey, Head of the team of external experts – Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van presented the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of education at Hanoi University. The external evaluation report clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of educational quality assessment, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Dinh Luan – Principal of the School affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Hanoi University signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the University.
