On the morning of December 14, 2017, in Ha Dong District, City. Hanoi, Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy to organize the opening of the main survey method for external assessment of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director. On the side of the external expert evaluation team was Prof. Dr. Science. Dang Ung Van – Truong Doan; Dr. To Thi Thu Huong – Secretary; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Cong Khan – Permanent member; Prof.Dr. Vo Tam and PhD. Nguyen Quang Manh is a member of the Evaluation Delegation.

On the side of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, there was Dr. Dau Xuan Canh – Party Committee Secretary – Academy Director – Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Doan Quang Huy – Deputy Director of the Academy – Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Pham Quoc Binh – Deputy Secretary of the University – Deputy Director of the Academy – Vice Chairman of the SA Council, along with leaders of faculties, departments, representatives of lecturers and students of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy.

The survey to serve the assessment was conducted from December 14 to December 18, 2017. The external assessment team conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; Academy Leadership Board; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; and visit and survey to collect feedback from relevant parties; Observe the facilities of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy to verify information according to the Academy’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help the Academy improve and improve quality .

The closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy was held at 11:30 a.m. on December 18, 2017. At the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT, the Education Youth Union clearly summarized the strengths of the Academy; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation makes recommendations for the Academy to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of education quality assessment, Dr. Dau Xuan Canh – Academy Director affirmed that the Academy has and will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Quality Evaluation of Education – Vietnam Association of Community Councils, Head of the Expert Evaluation Team and Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy signed the minutes of completion of the official survey for quality assessment.
