On December 3, 2019, the external evaluation expert team (EGN) established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) conducted a survey. preliminary at Vietnam Petroleum University to prepare for the official survey according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participating in the preliminary survey day at Vietnam Petroleum University, on behalf of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam General Assembly Association and the external evaluation team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Deputy Director of the Center, Head of the Evaluation Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary of the Youth Delegation and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of the Central Office. Receiving and working with the Evaluation Expert Team on the School’s side, there was Dr. Phan Minh Quoc Binh – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Le Van Sy – Vice Principal, Standing Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Ngo Thu Kieu – Deputy Head of Training Department, Secretary of the SA Council, Self-Assessment Council, specialized groups and representatives of unions and units of Vietnam Petroleum University

The main content of the preliminary survey day is as follows:

1. Introduction of the Evaluation Team and the purpose of the preliminary survey
2. The evaluation expert team reports the research results of the School’s self-assessment profile, announces the official survey plan and facilities requirements. The school needs to prepare for the official survey;
3. Agree on issues that the school needs to prepare: evidence that needs to be supplemented; number and composition of subjects invited to interview;
4. Agree on the official survey schedule;
5. Agree on working principles;
6. Check some locations where the school is preparing for the official survey such as the office of the Evaluation Team, the interview room, the hall for the Opening Ceremony of the official survey, etc.

Signing Minutes of Preliminary Survey at Vietnam Petroleum University

At the end of the preliminary survey day, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Rector of Vietnam Petroleum University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the preliminary survey of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The official survey time of the Expert Evaluation Team at the University was agreed to begin on December 14, 2019 and end on December 20, 2019.
