CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of June 3, 2017, the external evaluation expert team (EGN) of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) conducted a preliminary survey at Nong Lam University – Thai Nguyen University to prepare for the official survey according to the university education quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participating in the preliminary survey day at Nong Lam University, on the side of the Center for Education Quality Assurance – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; On the side of the Delegation of Experts, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary of the Youth Union, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen – Member of the Youth Union.

During the preliminary survey day, the Evaluation Expert Team worked with the leaders of Nong Lam University, the University’s Self-Evaluation Council, Heads of units within the University, the Secretariat and specialized groups. with main contents including:

• The evaluation expert team reports the research results of the School’s self-assessment profile, announces the official survey plan and facilities requirements. The school needs to prepare for the official survey;
• Agree on issues that the school needs to prepare: evidence that needs to be supplemented; number and composition of subjects invited to interview;
• Agree on working principles and official survey schedule;
• Visit some locations where the school prepares for the official survey such as the office of the Evaluation Team, the interview room, the hall for the Opening Ceremony of the Official Survey, etc. In particular, the Evaluation Expert Team met and discussed directly with a number of international students studying high-quality programs at the University;

At the end of the preliminary survey day, the Director of the Education Quality Evaluation Center – Vietnam Association of Community Council, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Principal of Nong Lam University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the preliminary survey of the Evaluation Team.

The official survey time of the Expert Evaluation Team at the University was agreed to start from June 13, 2017 and end at the end of June 17, 2017.
