CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of March 5, 2018, the team of external assessment experts from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges conducted a preliminary survey at the University of Pedagogy (University of Pedagogy). Central Arts to prepare for the official survey according to the university education quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participating in the preliminary survey team, on behalf of the Center for Educational Quality Assurance – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Center Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh – Center Officer. On the side of the external expert evaluation team was Prof. Dr. Science. Dang Ung Van, Head of Delegation; Dr. To Thi Thu Huong, Secretary of the Youth Union. On the side of the School, there was Dr. Dao Dang Phuong, Principal of the School, members of the Board of Directors, Self-Evaluation Council and all heads of units throughout the School.

The main purpose of education quality accreditation is to ensure the achievement of certain standards in training and to continuously improve and enhance the quality of training, meet the requirements of human resource users and ensure protect the rights of learners. For the National University of Arts Pedagogy, registering for external evaluation aims to have the School recognized as meeting quality accreditation standards, and at the same time serve as a basis for improving the training quality of the School.

At the meeting, the external assessment expert team reported the results of studying the self-assessment dossier and announced the official survey plan. The two sides discussed and agreed on the issues that the school needs to prepare: supporting documents needed, number and composition of interview subjects, agreement on the official survey schedule, and working principles. The team of experts visited a number of locations where the school was preparing for the official survey, such as the office of the Evaluation Team, the interview room, the conference hall for the opening ceremony of the official survey… and briefly checked the documents. The Preliminary Survey for external assessment ended with the Signing Ceremony of the Preliminary Survey Minute between the Director of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, and the Head of the Evaluation Delegation.
