CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On June 28, 2021, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), surveyed Preliminary (KSSB) 02 training programs (Curriculum) including: Nursing training program, university level and Nursing major, master’s level at Thang Long University, to prepare for the official survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Thang Long University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT to serve the evaluation of 02 training programs in Nursing, undergraduate level and Nursing major, master’s degree was officially opened on July 5, 2021 at Thang Long University.

Attending the opening ceremony of the CTQC, on the side of the Center for Educational Quality Testing, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Office. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Former Director, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Head of the Department of Educational Qualification – Center for Educational Qualification, Secretary of the Youth Union; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen – Head of Quality Technology Department – Center for Educational Quality Assessment, Standing member and members of the Evaluation Team include: Associate Professor, Dr. Kim Bao Giang and Dr. Pham Ngan Giang.

On the side of Thang Long University, there were: Dr. Phan Huy Phu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Nguyen Huu Dang – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Minh Xuan – Vice Rector, Head of Graduate and Scientific Management Department; Prof.Dr. Truong Viet Dung – Head of Faculty of Health Sciences, Head of Nursing Department, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Pham Thi Thuy Van – Deputy Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Audit, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of the 02 Self-Evaluation Councils of 02 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Thang Long University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from July 5, 2021 to July 9, 2021. The evaluation expert team outside the 02 training programs surveyed and researched documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; telephone to assess the employment status of 171 nursing graduates at university level; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 02 training programs at Thang Long University to verify the information in the self-assessment report of 02 training programs of the University, thereby providing recommendations. Suggestions to help improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

The closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 02 training programs of Thang Long University was held at 15:00 on July 8, 2021. At the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT, the Head of the external expert evaluation team Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Ha presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 02 university-level training programs of Thang Long University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team made recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 02 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 02 training programs of Thang Long University, Dr. Phan Huy Phu – Principal of the School, Chairman of the SA Council, affirmed that the School will have specific plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Community Program Association, Head of the evaluation expert team and the Principal of Thang Long University signed the minutes to complete the official survey to serve the evaluation of 02 training programs of the school.
