Quality assurance of 04 training programs: Music production major, Fine Arts production major, Graphic design major at university level and Music teaching theory and practice major at master’s level at NTCentral University of Education

Implementing the Decision of the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD), Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) on establishing an external assessment team for 04 training programs (CTĐT). ) majors in Music Pedagogy, Fine Arts Pedagogy, Graphic Design at university level and major in Music Teaching Theory and Methods at master’s level from Central University of Art Education, Expert Group External evaluation (DGN) conducted an official survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training at the Central University of Art Education.

Attending the opening ceremony on the morning of April 21, 2022, on the side of the Education Quality Certification Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director, with 2 Center staff. On the side of the Delegation of Experts of the GGN, there was Professor. PhD. Banh Tien Long, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Head of delegation; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Uyen, Head of the Center’s Quality Accreditation Department, Secretary of the delegation and members of the Evaluation delegation.

On the side of the Central University of Arts and Education, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Dao Dang Phuong – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Trinh Thi Thanh – Chairwoman of the School Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council, along with members of the SA Council, specialized groups, representatives of the University’s organizations, representatives of lecturers, students and guests.

During the inspection, the external assessment expert team carried out research activities on documents, records, and evidence; Observe and inspect the facilities, working, teaching, research, learning and living conditions of the University’s officials, lecturers, staff and students; Test operation of software for management and administration; Check equipment and tools for practice and experiments; Interview and collect opinions of relevant parties; Work with school leaders and the Self-Assessment Council.

At the closing ceremony of the KSCT on April 25, 2022, Prof. PhD. Banh Tien Long, Head of the Evaluation Delegation, reported preliminary results of quality assessment of 04 training programs of the Central University of Art Education, clearly stating the strengths of each training program, and making recommendations. so that the School can promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of constantly improving and enhancing the training quality of the School.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation, Head of the expert evaluation team and the Principal of the Central University of Arts and Education jointly signed the minutes of completion of the evaluation period to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs at the University.
