On January 3, 2022, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a Official survey (KSCT) to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs (CTDT): Biotechnology major, Architecture major, Business Administration major and Commerce Business major at university level of Van Lang University .

Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Education Quality Accreditation Center expressed his opinion at the Opening Ceremony of the evaluation period to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs of Van Lang University.

The opening ceremony of the KSCT period was held on the morning of January 3, 2022 at Van Lang University. Attending the opening ceremony, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Education and Training – Vietnam Association of Community Councils. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam – Former Rector – University of Natural Sciences – Hanoi National University, Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Dr. Nguyen Van Ly – Auditor of Education Quality Accreditation Center – Vietnam Association of AGMs, Standing member and members of the external assessment team of 04 training programs at Van Lang University.

On the side of Van Lang University, there was Dr. Nguyen Cao Tri – Chairman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Vo Van Tuan – Standing Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Ngo Quang Trung – Vice Principal, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Architect. Do Phu Hung – Head of the Faculty of Architecture, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Quynh Mai – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Le Thi Kim Oanh – Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; along with members of 04 Self-Evaluation Councils of 04 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Van Lang University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from January 3, 2022 to January 8, 2022. The evaluation expert team outside the 04 training programs conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 04 training programs at Van Lang University to verify the information in the self-assessment report of 04 training programs of the University, thereby providing recommendations. Suggestions to help improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

The closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs at Van Lang University was held at 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 2022. At the Closing Ceremony, Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam, Head of the external evaluation expert team, presented the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 04 training programs of Van Lang University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 04 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 04 training programs of Van Lang University, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi My Dieu – Principal, Chairwoman of the SA Council affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Community Program Association, Head of the evaluation expert team and Principal of Van Lang University signed the minutes to complete the official survey to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs of the school. After the closing session, the Delegation of Evaluation experts continued to work internally until January 8, 2022 to end the inspection period to serve the evaluation of 04 training programs of Van Lang University.
