CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On December 1, 2020, the External Evaluation Expert Team (EGN) of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) conducted a preliminary survey (KSSB ) 03 training programs at university level (Finance – Banking major; English Language major; Machine manufacturing technology major) at Dong Nai University of Technology, to prepare for the main survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Dong Nai University of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 03 university-level training programs was officially opened on December 15, 2020 at Dong Nai University of Technology.

Attending the Opening Ceremony of the KSCT, on behalf of the Center for Education Quality Assurance and the Delegation of Evaluation Experts, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director, Professor, PhD. Banh Tien Long – former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training – Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Ha – Deputy Director of the Center, Standing Member of the Evaluation Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Head of Education Evaluation Department, Secretary of the Evaluation Delegation and members of the Evaluation Delegation including Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, Associate Professor, PhD. Do Hanh Nga, PhD. Phan Van Hieu and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Central Office, Mr. Tran Quoc Hung, auditor.

On the side of Dong Nai University of Technology, there was Dr. Phan Ngoc Son – Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Doan Manh Quynh – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Pham Dinh Sac – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Tran Duc Thuan – Vice Rector, Standing Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of Finance and Banking, in charge of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance; Dr. Nguyen Minh Thien, Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Permanent Vice Chairman of the SA Council of the English Language Department; Dr. Ho Van Hien, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Standing Vice President of the Machine Manufacturing Technology Industry and members of the 03 Self-Evaluation Councils of 03 Programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Dong Nai University of Technology.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from December 15, 2020 to December 20, 2020. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs surveyed and researched documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives. The Evaluation Team has collected feedback from relevant parties; phone assessment of employment status of 287 graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at Dong Nai University of Technology to authenticate the information in the self-assessment report of 03 training programs of the University, thereby providing feedback. Make recommendations to help improve and enhance the quality of the University’s training program.

After 6 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 03 university-level training programs of Dong Nai University of Technology was held at 10:00 a.m. on December 20, 2020. At the closing ceremony of the KSCT round, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Dong Nai University of Technology. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly pointed out the strengths and recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and soon overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of constantly improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Dong Nai University of Technology, Dr. Doan Manh Quynh, Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
