On November 17, 2020, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a Preliminary survey (KSSB) of 03 training programs (CTDT) at university level (Accounting major; Economic Law major; Early Childhood Education major) at Vinh University, to prepare for the official survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB inspection day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Rector of Vinh University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB inspection of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 03 university-level training programs (Accounting; Economic Law; Preschool Education) was officially opened on December 4, 2020 at Vinh University.

Attending the opening ceremony of the STD inspection, on behalf of the Center for Education Quality Assessment and the Delegation of Assessment Experts, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Prof. Dr. Science. Banh Tien Long, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Head of Quality Assessment Department – Union Secretary; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen, Head of CMCL Department – Standing member and members of the Evaluation Team include: PhD. Nguyen Duc Thanh, PhD. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, PhD. Le Chi Lan and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of the Center Office, Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Thao – Center specialist. On the side of Vinh University, there are: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien – Chairman of the School Council; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang – Principal; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Hoa Du – Vice Chairman of the School Council, PhD. Tran Ba Tien – Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of the SA Council, PhD. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc – Head of the Faculty of Economics, Deputy Chairman of the SA Council, PhD. Dinh Ngoc Thang – Dean of the Faculty of Law, Deputy Chairman of the SA Council, PhD. Pham Le Cuong – Dean of the Faculty of Education, Deputy Chairman of the SA Council, Ms. Thai Thi Kim Oanh – Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Center, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of 03 Self-Evaluation Councils of 03 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Vinh University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from December 4, 2020 to December 9, 2020. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone assessment of employment status of 1,072 graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at Vinh University to verify the information in the self-assessment report of 03 training programs of the University, thereby making recommendations helps improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

After 6 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Vinh University was held at 3:00 p.m. on December 9, 2020. At the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT, Head of the External Evaluation Expert Team – Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Vinh University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Vinh University, Dr. Tran Ba Tien, Vice Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
