CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On August 15, 2022, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a Official survey (KSCT) to serve the evaluation of 03 training programs (CTDT): Information Technology major, Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology major and Accounting major – Business Accounting major, university level at Hai Phong University.

The opening ceremony of the KSCT period was held on the morning of August 15, 2022 at Hai Phong University. Attending the opening ceremony, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Education and Training – Vietnam Association of Community Councils. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there was Prof. Dr. Science. Banh Tien Long – Former Permanent Deputy Minister – Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Dr. Nguyen Van Ly – Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment, Permanent Member, PhD. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Auditor – Education Quality Accreditation Center, Secretary and members of the Evaluation Delegation.

On the side of Hai Phong University, there was Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Nguyen Van Kinh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan – Vice Principal, Vice Chairwoman of the SA Council; Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Pham Hong Khoa – Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor. Dr. Le Dac Nhuong, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Thai Son – Head of Faculty of Accounting and Finance, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Do Thi Thanh Toan – Head of Testing & Quality Assurance Department, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of 03 SA Councils of 03 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Hai Phong University.

Immediately after the opening ceremony of the inspection period, the Expert Evaluation Team conducted research on documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Evaluate the employment status of graduates over the phone; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and working rooms of 03 training programs at Hai Phong University to verify the information in the SA report of 03 training programs of the University.

The closing ceremony of the KSCT 03 program at Hai Phong University was held on August 19, 2022. At the Closing Ceremony, Prof.Dr.KH. Banh Tien Long, Head of the Evaluation expert team, presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Hai Phong University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths of the School and recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 3 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Hai Phong University, Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Community Program Association, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Hai Phong University jointly signed the Minutes of completion of the evaluation period to serve the evaluation of 03 training programs of the school.
