On the afternoon of January 30, 2018, the external assessment expert team of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges conducted a preliminary survey at the Academy of Development Policy to standardize prepare for the official survey according to the university education quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participating in the preliminary survey team, on behalf of the Center for Educational Quality Assurance – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Center Director, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan Chief of Center Office. On the side of the external expert evaluation team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Head of Delegation; Dr. To Thi Thu Huong, Secretary of the Youth Union. On the side of the University, Associate Professor, PhD. Dao Van Hung – Party Committee Secretary, Academy Director, Chairman of the SA Council, members of the Board of Directors, Self-Evaluation Council, and all heads of units throughout the University and student representatives.

The main purpose of educational quality accreditation is to determine whether the school meets certain standards in training and continuously improves and enhances the quality of training to meet the requirements. of human resource users and ensuring the rights of learners.

At the meeting, the Evaluation Expert Team reported the results of studying the self-assessment documents and announced the official survey plan. The two sides discussed and agreed on the issues that the Academy needs to prepare: supporting documents needed, number and composition of interview subjects, agreement on the official survey schedule, and working principles. The expert group visited a number of Academy locations to prepare for the official survey such as the office of the Evaluation Team, the interview room, the hall for the Opening Ceremony of the official survey… and briefly checked the documents. The Preliminary Survey for Evaluation ended with the Signing Ceremony of the Preliminary Survey Minutes between the Director of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, Head of the Evaluation Expert Delegation and Director of the Academy of Development Policy in the presence of leaders and heads of units of the Academy. The official survey time of the Expert Evaluation Team at the Academy was agreed to begin on April 2, 2018 and end on April 6, 2018.
