CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of March 9, 2018, in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with the University of Viet Tri Industrial University organized the opening of an official survey to serve the external assessment of Viet Tri Industrial University according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the opening ceremony: On the side of the Education Quality Certification Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Central Office and MSc. Tong Thanh Trung – Administrative support officer.

On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team was Prof. Dr. Science. Dang Ung Van – Head of Delegation; Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet  – Secretary; Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam – Permanent member; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong and Dr. To Thi Thu Huong is a member of the Evaluation Delegation;

On the side of Viet Tri University of Industry, there was MR.Dr. Vu Dinh Ngo – Principal; Dr. Le Thanh Tam – Vice Principal; Dr. Tran Thi Hang – Vice Principal; MSc. Vu Duc Binh – Vice Principal; Representative of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Committees, Faculty, and Subjects under the University, members of the Self-Evaluation Council, Secretariat, representatives representatives of lecturers, students, employers and alumni representatives.

Attending and reporting on the closing ceremony were also reporters from Phu Tho Newspaper and Phu Tho Television.

The inspection to serve the assessment was conducted from March 9, 2018 to March 13, 2018. The assessment team studied documents to demonstrate 10 standards with 61 criteria; Direct interviews with 10 target groups; phone assessment of graduates’ employment status; Observe classes, visit and survey the library, laboratories, practice rooms, dormitories and other facilities for training, scientific research, culture, arts, sports… Free contact with officials, employees, practitioners, students, alumni and employers during the time the delegation works at the University.

At the Closing session, Prof.Dr.KH. Dang Ung Van – Head of the external evaluation team presented a preliminary report on the results of the quality assessment of Viet Tri University of Industry. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths and recommendations according to 10 university quality assessment standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of education quality assessment, MR.Dr. Vu Dinh Ngo – Principal of the School affirmed that the School has and will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Head of the Evaluation Expert Delegation and Principal of Viet Tri University of Industry signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the school. .
