ASSOCIATION OF VIETNAM UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
On the morning of March 14, 2018, in Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Province, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with the University of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized the opening of an official survey to serve the external assessment of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Mai Van Trinh Director, Department of Quality Management (QLCL), PhD. Le My Phong, Head of Quality Assurance Department, Department of Quality Management. On the side of the Department of Health of Thai Binh Province, there was Mr. Tran Quang Hai, Deputy Director of the Department.
On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Central Office, MSc. Tong Thanh Trung Center Specialist.
On the side of the external expert evaluation team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Secretary of the Youth Union; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Cong Khan, Permanent Member; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong and PhD. Nguyen Quang Manh is a member of the Evaluation Expert Team.
On the side of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Nang Trong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Xuan Bai, Vice Rector, Standing Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tien, Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of the SA Council and members of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Heads/Deputies of units, representatives of mass organizations, representatives of lecturers and learners.
The survey to serve the assessment was conducted from March 14, 2018 to March 18, 2018. The team of experts from the GGN conducted a survey, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leadership Board; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; surveys to collect feedback from stakeholders, appraisals of graduates’ employment status via direct phone calls with graduates and visits to the University’s facilities to verify the information according to the School’s self-assessment report, thereby providing recommendations to help the School improve and improve quality.
The closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the assessment of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy was held on March 18, 2018. At the Closing Ceremony of the CST, Head of the External Evaluation Team, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the preliminary report on the results of assessing the quality of education at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The report clearly stated the school’s strengths and the delegation’s recommendations for the school to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.
Accepting the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of educational quality assessment, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Nang Trong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal, and Chairman of the Evaluation Council, affirmed that the School has and there will be feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Team.
At the end of the closing session, Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Council, Head of the assessment expert team and Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Nang Trong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal, Chairman of the Council of Education and Training signed the minutes of completion of the survey. Official monitoring serves to evaluate the quality of the school.
