On the morning of September 24, 2019, in Tuyen Quang Province, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Tan Trao University to organize Opening of the official survey to serve the external assessment of Tan Trao University according to the standards for assessing the quality of educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the opening ceremony: On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Dr. Le My Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Deputy Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Office and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh – Administrative Support Officer.

On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team was People’s Artist, Professor, Doctor of Science. Banh Tien Long – former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary; Members of the Evaluation Delegation: Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, PhD. Pham Xuan Thanh, Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen, Dr. Pham Van Hung.

On the side of Tan Trao University, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Ba Duc – Principal; Dr. Nguyen Khai Hoan and PhD. Tran Thi Le Thanh – Vice Principal; MSc. Doan Thi Phuong Ly – Head of Department of Education Quality Assessment and Evaluation; Representatives of the Trade Union Executive Committee, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Boards, Faculty, and Subjects under the University, members of the Self-Evaluation Council, Secretariat, representatives of lecturers, students, and representatives Employer representatives and alumni representatives.

The official survey serving the external assessment of Tan Trao University was conducted from September 24, 2019 to September 30, 2019. The appraisal team has studied documents proving 25 standards with 111 criteria; Direct interviews with 8 target groups; phone assessment of employment status of 294 graduates; Observe classes, visit and survey libraries, laboratories, practice rooms, dormitories and facilities for training, scientific research, culture, arts and sports…

People’s Teacher, Professor, Doctor of Science. Banh Tien Long – Head of the External Evaluation Team presented a preliminary report on the official survey results at Tan Trao University.

At the Closing session, People’s Lecturer, Professor, PhD. Banh Tien Long – Member of the GSNN Council – Head of the external evaluation team presented a preliminary report on the results of the quality assessment of Tan Trao University. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths and recommendations according to 25 standards for assessing the quality of educational institutions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the School’s quality assessment results, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Ba Duc – Principal of the School has affirmed that the School will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Principal of Tan Trao University signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the school.
