CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of January 11, 2019, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with the International University Hong Bang organized the opening of an official survey to serve the external assessment of Hong Bang International University according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the opening ceremony: On the side of the Education Certification Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Office and MSc. Tong Thanh Trung – Deputy Head of Cooperation and Development Department.

On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team was Prof. Dr. Science. Banh Tien Long – Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary; Members of the Evaluation Team: Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong, Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam, PhD. Pham Ngan Giang, PhD. Pham Xuan Thanh and PhD. Nguyen Thi Tuyet.

On the side of Hong Bang International University, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Ho Thanh Phong – Principal; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha – Vice Principal; Associate Professor, PhD. Thai Ba Can, Deputy General Director of Nguyen Hoang Group; Representatives of the Trade Union Executive Committee, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Boards, Faculty, and Subjects under the University, members of the Self-Evaluation Council, Secretariat, representatives of lecturers, students, and representatives Employer representatives and alumni representatives.

The official survey serving the external assessment of Hong Bang International University was conducted from January 11, 2019 to January 17, 2019. The appraisal team has studied documents proving 25 standards with 111 criteria; Direct interviews with 9 target groups with a total of 199 people; phone assessment of employment status of 260 graduates; Observe classes, visit and survey libraries, laboratories, practice rooms, dormitories and facilities for training, scientific research, culture, arts and sports…

At the Closing session, Prof.Dr.KH. Banh Tien Long – Head of the external evaluation team presented a preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of Hong Bang International University. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths and recommendations according to 25 university quality assessment standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Accepting the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of education quality assessment, Associate Professor, PhD.
