On December 6, 2020, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD), Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Vinh University of Medicine to organize the opening of the survey. official (KSCT) serving external assessment (Evaluation) of educational facilities at Vinh University of Medicine.

Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment, opened the official survey to serve the evaluation of educational institutions at Vinh University of Medicine.

Attending the opening ceremony, on the side of the Center for Education Accreditation were: Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Center Director; Dr. Pham Xuan Thanh, Deputy Director of the Education Quality Evaluation Center, Supervisor of the Evaluation Delegation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh and Mr. Nguyen Minh Khoi – Administrative support officers of the Delegation of Evaluation.

On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there were: Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Deputy Director of the Center, Head of the delegation; Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, senior lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – Senior lecturer at National Economics University; Dr. Le Thi Kim Dung, Head of Cooperation and Development Department of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment; Dr. Pham Ngan Giang, Chief of Office of the Department of Science, Technology and Training, Ministry of Health; Dr. Nguyen Van Ly, former Director of the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security; Dr. Do Dinh Thai, Head of Postgraduate Training Department, Saigon University.

On the side of Vinh University of Medicine, there are: Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Canh Phu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Cao Truong Sinh – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam – Head of Inspection & Quality Assurance Department, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of the Self-Evaluation Council, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Vinh University of Medicine.

The team of experts from Vinh Medical University conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the School’s facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments to verify information in the School’s educational facility self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations for improvement. and improve the quality of the School.

After 06 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of the educational institution of Vinh University of Medicine was held at 2:30 p.m. on December 11, 2020. At the Closing Ceremony of the Technical Inspection period, Head of the Expert Evaluation Team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented Preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of Vinh University of Medicine. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings to continue improving the training quality of the School.

Accepting the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Canh Phu, Principal of the School, Chairman of the SA Council, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to effectively implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, Director of the Center for Education Accreditation, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Rector of Vinh University of Medicine, signed the Minutes of Completion of the official survey to serve the evaluation of educational facilities of the University.
