On the morning of April 15, 2019, in Dien Bien province, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Dien Bien Pedagogical College Organized the opening of an official survey to serve the external assessment of Dien Bien College of Education according to the college quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the Opening Ceremony: On the side of the Education Certification Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Office and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh – Administrative Support Officer.

On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary; Members of the Evaluation Team: Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – permanent member, Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet, PhD. Pham Xuan Thanh.

On the side of Dien Bien Pedagogical College, there was MSc. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai – Principal; Vice Principals: MSc. Nguyen Song Binh, MSc. Dinh Tuan Huy; MSc Tran Van Ke – Head of Department of Education Quality Assessment and Evaluation; Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Boards, Faculty, and Subjects under the University, members of the Self-Evaluation Council, Secretariat, representatives of lecturers and students staff, employer representatives and alumni representatives.

The official survey serving the external assessment of Dien Bien Pedagogical College was conducted from April 15, 2019 to April 18, 2019. The appraisal team has studied documents proving 10 standards with 55 criteria; Direct interviews with 8 target groups; phone assessment of employment status of 281 graduates; Observe classes, visit and survey libraries, laboratories, practice rooms, dormitories and facilities for training, scientific research, culture, arts and sports…

Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Head of the Delegation, presented a preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of Dien Bien Pedagogical College at the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT.

At the Closing session, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of the external evaluation team presented a preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of Dien Bien Pedagogical College. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths and recommendations according to 10 standards for evaluating college quality issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on educational quality assessment results, MSc. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai – Principal of the School has affirmed that the School will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
