CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of July 3, 2019, in Vung Tau City, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Ba Ria University – Vung Tau organized the opening of the official survey to serve the external assessment of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Dr. Le My Phong, Deputy Director of Quality Management Department;

On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director; Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Deputy Director of the Center, Head of the External Evaluation Team; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung, Secretary of the Youth Union; Members of the Evaluation Team: Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen, PhD. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, PhD. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and PhD. Tran Duc Hieu. Administrative support officers include Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Office and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh.

On the side of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, there was Prof. Dr. Nguyen Loc, Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Tran Van Khanh – Secretary of the School’s Party Committee, and Vice Principals including Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Vu Phi Ho, MSc. Le Van Toan, PhD. Vu Van Dong; MSc. Nguyen Minh Trung – Head of the Department of Educational Standards, Head of the Secretariat of the SA Council, representative of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Committees, Faculty, and Subjects under the University, members Self-Assessment Council, Secretariat, representatives of lecturers, students, representatives of employers and representatives of alumni.

The official survey serving the external assessment of Ba Ria Vung Tau University was conducted from July 3, 2019 to July 9, 2019. The appraisal team has studied documents proving 25 standards with 111 criteria; Direct interviews with 8 target groups; phone assessment of employment status of 281 graduates; Observe classes, visit and survey libraries, laboratories, practice rooms, dormitories and facilities for training, scientific research, culture, arts and sports…

At the closing session of the KSCT, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Head of the external evaluation team, presented a preliminary report on the results of the quality assessment of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths and recommendations according to 25 standards for assessing university quality, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha, Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation, Head of the Evaluation Delegation, presented a preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University at the Closing Ceremony of the evaluation period.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the preliminary report on the results of education quality assessment, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Loc, Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
