CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

Pursuant to Decision No. 46/QD-KĐCLGD dated April 27, 2020 of the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) on the establishment of the Delegation External assessment of training programs in Economics, International Economics and Business Administration at university level of the Academy of Policy and Development; On June 2, 2020, the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Councils coordinated with the Academy of Policy and Development (CS&PT) to organize the opening of an official survey (KSCT) to serve the external assessment of 03 training programs ( Curriculum) at university level (Economics, International Economics and Business Administration) at the Academy of Science and Development.

Attending the opening ceremony of the KSCT round on the side of the Education Quality Testing Center were: Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh – Administrative support officers of the Delegation of Evaluation. On the side of the Expert Evaluation Team, there were: Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Deputy Director of the Center, Head of the Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Head of Education Quality Assessment Department, Secretary of the Youth Union; Members of the Evaluation Delegation include Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen – Head of Education Quality Accreditation Department, Standing Committee; Associate Professor, PhD. Le Phuoc Minh – Director of the Institute of African and Middle Eastern Studies, Academy of Social Sciences; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – Senior lecturer, National Economics University.
On the side of the Academy of Science and Development, there are: Associate Professor, PhD. Dao Van Hung – Academy Director, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Trong Nguyen – Deputy Director of the Academy, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Giang Thanh Tung – Deputy Director of the Academy; Dr. Nguyen The Vinh – Deputy Director of the Academy; Standing Vice Chairmen of 03 SA Councils; CN Le Minh Van, Director of the Center for Testing and Quality Assurance, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of the 03 Self-Evaluation Councils of 03 training programs, specialized groups and representatives of organizations and units of the Academy.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from June 2, 2020 to June 8, 2020. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; Academy Leadership; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone to assess the employment status of graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at the Academy of Science and Development to verify the information in the self-assessment report of 03 training programs of the School, thereby making recommendations to help Improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

After 7 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the assessment of 03 university-level training programs of the Academy of Science and Development was held at 3:00 p.m. on June 8, 2020. At the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT, the Head of the external expert evaluation team Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Ha presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 university-level training programs of the Academy of Policy and Development. The report of the Evaluation Delegation clearly stated the strengths of the Academy; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the Academy to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the Academy.

Accepting the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dao Van Hung, Director of the Academy and Chairman of the SA Council, affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Community Program Association, the Head of the Expert Evaluation Team and the Director of the Academy of Science and Development jointly signed the Minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the Evaluation of 03 university-level training programs of the House. school.
