ASSOCIATION OF VIETNAM UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
From August 25 to August 30, 2022, the External Evaluation Expert Team (EGN), formed by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) Established and conducted an official survey (KSCT) to serve the assessment of 02 training programs: Information Technology major and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering major at university level at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology. .
The opening ceremony of the KSCT period was held on the morning of August 25, 2022 at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology. Attending the Opening Ceremony, on the side of the Education Certification Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director and 01 Center staff. On the side of the Delegation of Experts of the GGN, there was Professor. PhD. Banh Tien Long, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Head of delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Union Secretary; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Uyen, Standing member and members of the Evaluation delegation.
On the side of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, there was Professor. Dr. Tu Minh Phuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Academy Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Dang Hoai Bac – Academy Director, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Quang Anh – Deputy Director of the Academy, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Tan Hanh – Deputy Director of the Academy, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Vu Tuan Lam – Deputy Director of the Academy; Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong – Dean, Faculty of Information Technology 1, Standing Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son – Dean, Faculty of Information Technology 2, Member of the SA Council; Dr. Hoang Xuan Dau – Deputy Dean, in charge of the Department of Information Security, Secretary of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Tien Ban – Dean, Faculty of Telecommunications 1, Standing Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Vo Nguyen Quoc Bao – Dean, Faculty of Telecommunications 2, Member of the SA Council; Dr. Nguyen Chien Trinh, Deputy Dean – Faculty of Telecommunications 1, Secretary of the SA Council; along with members of the 02 SA Councils of 02 training programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions, representatives of lecturers, students of the Academy and guests.
During the period of investigation, the Delegation of Experts studied documents, records, and evidence; Observe and inspect facilities, working conditions, teaching, research, learning, and living conditions of the Academy’s officials, lecturers, staff, and students; Test operation of software for management and administration; Check equipment and tools for practice and experiments; Interview and collect opinions from relevant parties; Work with Academy leaders and the Self-Assessment Council.
At the closing ceremony of the KSCT period, Prof.Dr.Sc. Banh Tien Long, Head of the Evaluation expert team, presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 02 training programs of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. The report of the Evaluation Delegation clearly stated the strengths of the Academy; At the same time, the Evaluation Team also made recommendations for the Academy to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 02 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the Academy.
At the end of the Closing Ceremony, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education and Training, Head of the Expert Evaluation Delegation and Director of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology jointly signed the minutes to complete the period of evaluation and evaluation to serve the evaluation of 02 training programs at the University.
