On April 18, 2021, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation under the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) organized the first meeting of the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD). Training program (Curriculum) English pedagogy at full-time university level and training program Theory and Methods of teaching English at master’s level of Can Tho University; Full-time university level training program (Accounting, Economic Law, Preschool Education) from Vinh University; Full-time university level training program (Finance – Banking, Business Administration) of Hanoi University; Full-time university level training program (Machinery Technology major, English Language major) from Dong Nai University of Technology; Full-time university level training program (Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology) of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Full-time university-level training program in Construction Engineering at Central University of Construction; Full-time university level training program (majors in International Economics, majors in International Communications, majors in International Relations, majors in International Law, majors in English Language) of the Diplomatic Academy; Full-time university level training program (Chemical Industrial Engineering, Auditing, Finance – Banking) from Hanoi University of Industry; The full-time university level training program (major in Travel and Tourism Service Management, major in Construction Engineering, major in Finance – Banking) of Van Lang University has been externally evaluated by the Center according to the regulations of the Government. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Quality Management (QLCL) – Ministry of Education and Training, the Center’s Board of Directors, members of the Educational Quality Accreditation Council, Heads of external assessment expert teams (ADGs), Principals and Principals. Heads and Directors of Universities and Institutes who are educational institutions and have training programs whose quality assessment results will be evaluated in this session; Accompanying the leaders of university education institutions were Heads/Deputies of relevant training faculties.

Opening the Meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the Center, Chairman of the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation, thoroughly grasped the content and purpose of the Meeting, requested Council members to exchange and discuss carefully the methods , how to evaluate the evaluation results and emphasize the principle of review and appraisal based on evidence, and at the same time evaluate the authenticity of the judgments and evaluation results of the external expert evaluation team for each criterion. will.

At the meeting, representatives of the School Leaders in turn reported overviews of educational facilities and training programs, representatives of the Expert Evaluation Team reported on the results of evaluation, representatives of the Professional Subcommittee reported on appraisal results, and the Council raised questions for leaders of educational institutions that have been evaluated and recognized the results of evaluation or whose training programs have been evaluated and recognized the results of evaluation. The Council also discussed with the Head of the Evaluation Delegation to further clarify contents related to the results of evaluation of educational institutions or training programs.

Based on the study of the Appraisal Document and the contents discussed at the Meeting, the Council discussed recommendations for the School to overcome shortcomings, continue to improve quality and conduct a secret vote. to pass a Resolution on appraising the results of educational quality assessment for 06 universities and 28 training programs according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The representative of the Department of Quality Management – Ministry of Education and Training made a speech recognizing and appreciating the Center’s education quality accreditation work; the quality of the Council’s organization and activities in evaluating the results of the Evaluation Team according to regulations.

Immediately after the Meeting, the Center continued to implement procedures to implement the process of recognizing educational quality for university education facilities and training programs according to regulations.
