CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On January 3, 2021, the External Evaluation Expert Team (EGN) of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) conducted a preliminary survey (KSSB ) 03 training programs at university level (Finance – Banking major; Auditing major; Chemical Engineering Technology major) at Hanoi University of Industry, to prepare for the main survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Hanoi University of Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB of the Evaluation Expert Team.

The KSCT round to serve the evaluation of 03 university-level training programs was officially opened on January 18, 2021 at Hanoi University of Industry.

Attending the Opening Ceremony of the KSCT, on behalf of the Education Quality Accreditation Center and the Evaluation Expert Team, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center, Assoc. Dr. Bui Duy Cam – Former Rector of the University of Natural Sciences – Hanoi National University – Head of the Evaluation Delegation; Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Van Uyen, Secretary of the Evaluation Delegation and members of the Evaluation Delegation include Associate Professor, Dr. Le Phuoc Minh, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, PhD. Doan Thi Quynh Anh, PhD. Nguyen Duc Thanh and two Center officials (Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh and Mr. Tran Quoc Hung) are supervisors of the Evaluation Team.

On the side of Hanoi University of Industry, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quy Duc, Principal, Chairman of the Self-Evaluation Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hong Quan – Chairman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Bong, Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the Self-Evaluation Council; Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council; Dr. Bui Thi Ngan, Vice Principal, Vice Chair of the Self-Assessment Council; Dr. Vu Dinh Khoa, Dean of the Faculty of Business Management, Member of the Executive Council of the Auditing Industry; Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Ngoc Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing, member of the Executive Board of the Auditing Industry; Dr. Pham Thi Mai Huong, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, member of the SA Council of Chemical Engineering Technology and members of the 03 Self-Evaluation Councils of 03 Research Programs, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units belongs to Hanoi University of Industry.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from January 18, 2021 to January 23, 2021. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs surveyed and researched documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, departments, functional departments, and lecturer representatives. The Evaluation Team has collected feedback from relevant parties; phone assessment of employment status of 766 graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at Hanoi University of Technology to authenticate the information in the 03 SA reports of 03 training programs of the University, thereby making recommendations. Recommendations to help improve and enhance the quality of the University’s training program.

After 6 working days, the closing ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Hanoi University of Industry was held at 3:00 p.m. on January 23, 2020. At the Closing Ceremony of the final inspection, Head of the external evaluation expert team – Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duy Cam, presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Hanoi University of Industry. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly pointed out the strengths and recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and soon overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of constantly improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of quality assessment of 03 training programs of Hanoi University of Industry, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Duc Quy, Principal of the School, affirmed that the School will have Specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Association of Vietnam Community Programs, Head of the Expert Assessment Team and Principal of Hanoi University of Industry signed the minutes to complete the official survey to serve the assessment of 03 qualification programs.
