On August 27, 2020, the External Evaluation Expert Team (DGN), established by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN), conducted a Preliminary survey (KSSB) of 03 university-level training programs (Accounting major; English Language major; Hotel Management major) at Van Lang University, to prepare for the main survey (KSCT) according to the educational quality accreditation process of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the end of the KSSB inspection day, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Principal of Van Lang University signed a Memorandum of Understanding after the KSSB inspection of the Evaluation Expert Team.

KSCT serves 03 university-level training programs (Accounting; English Language; Hotel Management) that were officially opened on September 3, 2020 at Van Lang University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from September 3, 2020 to September 8, 2020. The evaluation expert team outside the 03 training programs conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; phone assessment of employment status of 460 graduates; Observe the facilities, laboratories, practice rooms and departments of 03 training programs at Van Lang University to verify the information in the self-assessment report of 03 training programs of the University, thereby providing recommendations. Suggestions to help improve and enhance the quality of the school’s training program.

After 6 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT to serve the evaluation of 03 university-level training programs of Van Lang University was held at 3:00 p.m. on September 8, 2020. At the Closing Ceremony of the Technical Inspection period, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the preliminary report on the results of quality assessment of 03 university-level training programs of Van Lang University. The report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Delegation made recommendations for the School to promote the strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the 03 training programs with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.
