On November 21, 2019, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Hoa Sen University to organize an official survey to evaluate off-site education according to Circular 12/2017/TT-BGDDT dated May 19, 2017 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the opening ceremony towards the Center for Education Quality Accreditation was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam Trinh – Administrative Support Officers for the External Evaluation Expert Team. On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam – Team leader; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Union Secretary; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong; Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen; Dr. Pham Van Hung; Dr. To Thi Thu Huong is a member of the Delegation. On Hoa Sen University’s side, there was Prof.Dr. Mai Hong Quy – School Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Vu Tuong Thuy, Vice Rector, Member of the SA Council; Dr. Phan Thi Vietnam – Head of Quality Assurance and Audit Department, Secretary of the SA Council and members of the Self-Assessment Council, specialized groups, representatives of unions and units of Hoa Sen University.

The official survey to serve the assessment begins from November 21 to November 27, 2019. The team of external assessment experts conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Observe Hoa Sen University’s facilities to verify the information in the University’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help improve and enhance the University’s training quality.

After 7 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey to serve the Evaluation of Hoa Sen University was held at 4:00 p.m. on November 27, 2019. At the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Duy Cam presented the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of educational facilities of Hoa Sen University. The external evaluation report clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving the training quality of the School.

Absorbing the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the preliminary report on the results of assessing the quality of the school’s educational facilities, Prof.Dr. Mai Hong Quy – Principal of the School affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.

At the end of the closing session, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Delegation and the Principal of Hoa Sen University signed the minutes to complete the official survey to assess the quality of Hoa Sen University’s educational facilities.
