ASSOCIATION OF VIETNAM UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
On November 13, 2019, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Ho Chi Minh – The Ministry of Education and Training organized an official survey to evaluate the quality of 02 university-level training programs (Electrical Engineering training program and Business Administration training program) The school’s formal system follows the standards for evaluating the quality of training programs issued under Circular No. 04/2016/TT-BGDDT dated March 14, 2016 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the opening ceremony towards the Center for Education Quality Accreditation was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan and MSc Pham Thi Quyen – Administrative Support Officer for the External Evaluation Expert Team. On the side of the External Evaluation Expert Team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Union Secretary; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – Standing member of the Youth Union; Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Van Quyet and PhD. Le Huy Tung is a member of the Youth Union. On the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology side, there is Prof. Dr. Science. Ho Dac Loc – Principal, Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council (TDG); Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Xuan Lam – Vice Principal; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet – Vice Principal; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Director of HUTECH Technical Institute, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phu Tu – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Vice Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Truong Quang Dung – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Secretary of the SA Council of the Business Administration training program; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Hung – Deputy Director of HUTECH Institute of Technology, Secretary of the Self-Assessment Council of the Electrical Engineering training program and the SA Council of the undergraduate training program in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, specialized groups and representatives of unions and units of the City University of Technology. The official survey to serve the assessment lasted from November 13 to November 17, 2019. The team of external assessment experts conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leaders; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, institutes, subjects, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders; Observe the facilities of the City University of Technology. Ho Chi Minh City to authenticate the information in the School’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help the School improve and enhance training quality 02 Electrical Engineering and Management training programs School Business.
After 5 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey served the assessment of two training programs in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration – City University of Technology. Ho Chi Minh is held at 3:30 p.m. on November 17, 2019. At the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey, Head of the external expert evaluation team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the Preliminary Report on the results of educational quality assessment for two training programs in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration – City University of Technology. Ho Chi Minh. The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team clearly stated the strengths of the two training programs; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of constantly improving the quality of the School’s training program.
Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of education in the school’s two training programs, Prof.Dr. Ho Dac Loc – Principal of the School has affirmed that the School will have specific and feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team.
At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology jointly signed the minutes to complete the official survey to serve the assessment. the quality of the University’s two undergraduate training programs in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.
