CENTRE FOR EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

On the morning of July 6, 2018, in Can Tho City, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (Education Accreditation Center – Vietnam Association of Educational Quality Assurance) announced the decision to recognize and awarded the Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation to Southern Can Tho University.

On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Dr. Le My Phong, Head of Education Quality Assurance Department, Department of Quality Management;

On Can Tho City’s side, there were Secretary of the Party Committee of Can Tho City, representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Can Tho City and Mr. Lu Van Dien, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Can Tho.

On the side of the Center for Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Programs, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Professor, Doctor of Science. Banh Tien Long – former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of the External Evaluation Expert Team, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha – Member of the External Evaluation Expert Team, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of the Central Office and MSc. Tong Thanh Trung – Center Specialist;

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam Association of General Education Associations announced the Decision to recognize meeting educational quality accreditation standards for Nam Can Tho University.

Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Educational Quality Qualification – Vietnam Association of Community Councils expressed his opinion at the Ceremony of awarding the Certificate of Educational Quality Qualification to Southern Can Tho University

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of Community Councils highly appreciated the strengths of Southern Can Tho University and some of the results the school has implemented according to the recommendations of the external evaluation team; At the same time, he emphasized that the University needs to make additional investments to standardize and further improve the quality of training activities and link scientific research activities with local practical requirements for sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Vo Tong Xuan – Principal of the School sincerely thanked the attention and support of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Red Cross Association and other sectors and levels to the School, and affirmed that the School has built the Plan with feasible solutions to implement recommendations of the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation – Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges.
