ASSOCIATION OF VIETNAM UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
On the morning of April 22, 2018, in Hanoi City, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CTĐHCĐVN) coordinated with the University of Economics and Technology Industrial Engineering organized the opening of the official survey to serve the external assessment of the University of Industrial Economics and Technology according to the university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Central Office, and MSc. Tong Thanh Trung, Center specialist.
On the side of the external expert evaluation team was Prof. Dr. Science. Banh Tien Long – Head of the Evaluation Expert Team; Dr. Vo Sy Manh – Secretary of the Youth Union; Dr. Pham Van Hung – Permanent member; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong and Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Uyen is a member of the Evaluation Delegation.
On the side of the University of Industrial Economics and Technology, there was Dr. Tran Duc Can – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal; Dr. Tran Hoang Long – Vice Principal in charge of the School; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Khuong – Vice Principal; Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Heads of Departments, Boards, Faculty, and Subjects under the Academy, members of the Self-Evaluation Council, representatives of lecturers, students, alumni and recruiters.
Tran Hoang Long – Vice Principal in charge of the School, Chairman of the Self-Evaluation Council presented an overview report on the School’s activities, which emphasized the strengths and opportunities – challenges for the School. schools and solutions to improve the quality of education and meet the needs of society.
After the opening session, the Delegation of Experts assessed the documents and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leadership Board; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; survey to collect feedback from relevant parties, call graduates directly to assess employment status; Visit the facilities of the University of Industrial Economics and Technology to verify the information according to the University’s self-assessment report.
The survey to serve the assessment was conducted from April 22, 2018 to April 26, 2018. The team of experts from the GGN conducted a survey, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leadership Board; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; survey to collect feedback from relevant parties, assess the employment status of graduates via direct phone calls with graduates and visit the University’s facilities to verify the information according to the School’s self-assessment report, thereby providing recommendations to help the School improve and improve quality.
The closing ceremony of the CTD round to serve the evaluation of the University of Economics and Technology of Industry was held on April 26, 2018, Head of the external evaluation expert team, Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long presented the preliminary report on the results of assessing the quality of education at the University of Economics and Technology of Industry. The report clearly stated the school’s strengths and the delegation’s recommendations for the school to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.
Absorbing the recommendations of the Expert Evaluation Team in the preliminary report on the results of education quality assessment, Dr. Tran Hoang Long – Vice Principal in charge of the School, Chairman of the SA Council, affirmed that the School has and will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the SA Expert Team.
At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, the Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and the School Principal signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the School.
