ASSOCIATION OF VIETNAM UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
On the morning of October 10, 2017, in Hoan Kiem District, City. Hanoi, Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (KĐCLGD) – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CĐHCĐVN) coordinated with Vietnam University of Fine Arts to organize the opening of the official survey to restore the quality of education. External assessment service of Vietnam University of Fine Arts according to university quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attend the opening ceremony:
On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Mai Van Trinh – Director of Quality Management Department – Ministry of Education and Training; Dr. Le My Phong – Head of Education Quality Assurance Department – Department of Quality Management.
On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Le Anh Tuan – Deputy Director, Department of Training – Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
On the side of the Education Quality Accreditation Center, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Center Director; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of Central Office.
On the side of the external expert evaluation team, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha – Head of Delegation; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Secretary; Dr. Pham Van Hung – Permanent member; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong and PhD. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha is a member of the Evaluation Delegation.
On the side of Vietnam University of Fine Arts, there was Associate Professor, PhD. Le Van Suu – Principal, Chairman of the SA Council; MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Long – Vice Principal, Deputy Chairman of the SA Council; Dr. Dang Phong Lan – Vice Principal; Associate Professor, PhD. Ngo Tuan Phong – Vice Rector, along with leaders of faculties, departments, representatives of lecturers and students of Vietnam University of Fine Arts.
The survey to serve the assessment was conducted from October 10, 2017 to October 14, 2017. The external assessment team conducted surveys, researched documents, and interviewed employers; former learner; learner; School Leadership Board; Leaders of mass organizations, faculties, departments, centers, functional departments, and lecturer representatives; and visit and survey to collect feedback from relevant parties; Observe the facilities of Vietnam University of Fine Arts to verify information according to the School’s self-assessment report, thereby making recommendations to help the School improve and improve quality.
After 4.5 working days, the Closing Ceremony of the KSCT round to serve the evaluation of Vietnam University of Fine Arts was held at 10:00 a.m. on October 14, 2017. At the Closing Ceremony of the CST, Head of the external evaluation team – Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Ha presented the Preliminary Report on the results of assessing the quality of education at Vietnam University of Fine Arts. The external evaluation report clearly stated the school’s strengths; At the same time, the Evaluation Team makes recommendations for the School to promote its strengths and overcome shortcomings with the aim of continuously improving quality.
Accepting the recommendations of the Evaluation Expert Team in the Preliminary Report on the results of education quality assessment, Associate Professor, PhD. Le Van Suu – Principal of the School affirmed that the School has and will have feasible plans and solutions to implement the recommendations of the Evaluation Team.
At the end of the closing session, the Director of the Center for Educational Quality Evaluation – Vietnam Association of General Education Programs, Head of the Evaluation Expert Team and Principal of Vietnam University of Fine Arts signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of the School.
