In the Morning of July 6, 2018, in Can Tho, Centre for Education accreditation – Association of Viet Nam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) announced recognition decision and awarded certificate of institutional accreditation for Nam Can Tho University.

Delivering a speech at the announcement ceremony at the Nam Can Tho University, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of CEA-AVU&C stated high achievements of Nam Can Tho University. Accrediting committee of CEA-AVU&C recommended the University leaders to highlight the strong points based on the University concerns so that the University could improve its activities.

Professor Doctor Vo Tong Xuan, the University President thanked the Ministry of Education and Training, , the People’s Committee of Can Tho City and Association of Viet Nam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) for their supports and recommendations to the development of the university, and he stated that the university leaders has approved a planned detailing feasibly solutions to expand the universities’ achievements and improve the concerns.
