In the Morning of March 4, 2018, The Review Team of the Centre for Education Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) started the Review Visit at Hai Phong University, using the institutional accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The Review Visit started from March 4 to March 8, 2018. The Review Team thoroughly examined documents, evidences; conducted focus group interviews with the employers, student alumni, students; Deans, University Leaders, Leaders of University political and social Associations / Organizations, Directors of University Centers, representatives of lecturers and representatives of students. The Review Team also visit University laboratories and training and practical workshops

The closing ceremony of the Review Visit at the Academy of Journalism & Communication of started on March 8, 2018. At the Closing Ceremony, the Head of the Review Team, Assoc Professor Doctor Le Phuoc Minh presented a Brief Report of the Review Visit. The Report highlighted the strong points as well as the Review Team suggestions based on the academy concerns identified by the Review Team so that The University could improve its activities.
At the Closing Ceremony, The Director of CEA-AVU&C, the Head of the Review Team and the Rector of Hai Phong University signed the Brief Review Report of the Institutional Accreditation at Hai Phong University.
