Review visit at Sao Do University

On August 16, 2017, at Chi Linh district, Hai Duong province, the centre for Education Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) and Sao Do University launched the opening ceremony for Accreditation review visit using the institutional accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the Opening Ceremony of the Institutional Accreditation Review Visit, participants include:

Prof. Doctor Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of CEA-AVU&C; Professor Doctor of Science Banh Tien Long, Head of the Review Team; Doctor To Thi Thu Huong, the Secretary of the Review Team; Doctor Pham Van Hung, the Acting member; Doctor Le Huy Tung and Assoc. Prof. Doctor Nguyen Van Uyen, members of the Review Team.

Madam Nguyen Thi Lam Gíang – Acting Director, Department of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Director of Hai Duong Radio – Television;

Doctor Dinh Van Nhuong, the Rector of Sao Do University and Deputy Rectors, members of Sao Do University Self-Evaluation Committee together with Deans, Directors of functioning departments and representative of lecturers as well as representative of student body.

The Review Visit started from August 16 to August 20, 2017. The Review Team thoroughly examined documents, evidences; conducted focus group interviews with the employers, student alumni, students; Deans, University Leaders, Leaders of University political and social Associations/Organizations, Directors of University Centres, representatives of lecturers and representatives of students. The Review Team also visit University laboratories and training and practical workshops.

After 4 days and a half, the Closing Ceremony of the Review was held at 10 am on August 20, 2017. At the Closing Ceremony, the Head of the Review Team, Professor Doctor of Science Banh Tien Long presented a Brief Report of the Review Visit. The Report highlighted the strong points as well as the Review Team suggestions based on the university concerns identified by the Review Team so that The University could improve its activities.

The Rector of Sao Dao University, Doctor Dinh Van Nhuong stated that on behalf of the University, the University is very pleased with the Review Team findings and suggestions, and that Sao Do University has seriously planned and conducted feasibly ways and solutions to ongoing improve its activities.

At the Closing Ceremony, The Director of CEA-AVU&C, the Head of the Review Team and Sao Do University Rector signed the Brief Review Report of the Institutional Accreditation at Sao Do University.
